NEWTON STEWART (GALLOWAY) WALKING FESTIVAL
FRIDAY 8 – THURSDAY 14 MAY 2009
Offering a selection of more than 25 guide walks over seven days, the festival is your gateway to Galloway’s hills, forests and coastline. Routes range in length from 5 to 15 miles, with walks graded as moderate to very strenuous. Longer walks take you right into the heart of wild Galloway whilst a selection of shorter themed walks explore the wildlife and landscape of the area with expert guides. Cost £8 to £10 per walk including bus transfers from Newton Stewart town centre. Extensive programme of evening social events.
